When a Fortune 500 company relocated its Pennsylvania headquarters, it partnered with Green Standards to sustainably decommission 150K square feet of space. Our program redistributed the surplus furniture to 14 local non-profits, including United Cerebral Palsy of Central Pennsylvania and The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties.
On this project, Green Standards diverted 100% (195 tons) of office furniture & equipment from landfill while facilitating $57,515 worth of in-kind donations to non-profits in central Pennsylvania.
